The tour walks you through BeTrack in eleven steps – from the dashboard and the AI CV check to export. On this page you will find every step explained in detail, and you can restart the tour at any time.
One click resets the tour. The next time you open the app it will start again from the beginning.
During the tour one icon in the navigation is highlighted brightly while the rest of the page is dimmed. The explanation card appears right below it.
Your CV and the job ad are compared: match score, found and missing keywords plus concrete suggestions using the STAR method.
Each tour step explains one feature. Here you also get practical hints that do not fit into the short tour.
All applications at a glance. Colour-coded status badges show you exactly where you stand.
The status filters let you show or hide individual phases. The search covers company, job title, location and status at the same time.
Switch between cards, table and kanban board – whichever way you prefer to work.
Cards work well for an overview, the table for many entries, and the kanban board lets you drag items between statuses.
Tip: just paste the link to the job ad – we read out company, title and description automatically.
If the automatic import does not work (for example on portals requiring a login), simply paste the description as text. The Chrome extension imports job ads straight from your browser.
Per application: notes, dates, files and every saved AI analysis. Use “Document view” to reopen optimised documents at any time.
Files can be added by drag and drop. Saved analyses appear as a list – “Document view” takes you back into the editor including design and export.
Your CV and the job ad are compared: match score, found and missing keywords plus concrete suggestions using the STAR method.
You pick the CV (from your profile, an application or an upload) and the job ad. The score weights hard skills 40%, relevant experience 30%, soft skills 20% and format 10%.
The AI revises your entire CV – complete and without inventing anything. Adjust it in the editor, pick a design and export as PDF, Word or text.
If a metric is missing, the AI inserts a placeholder in square brackets instead of inventing a number – you fill those in yourself. Name and address are entered directly in the editor.
Create a matching cover letter straight from the analysis, refine it in the editor and export it fully formatted.
You fill in recipient, subject and sender in the editor; for a linked application they are pre-filled. Three design templates are available.
Have your LinkedIn profile analysed and get concrete improvements for headline, about section and experience.
You paste your profile text and receive concrete suggestions for headline, about section and the description of your roles.
Track your progress: application funnel, activity and rates over time.
The funnel shows where applications typically stall – useful for knowing exactly where to improve.
Export your application overview – for the employment office or your own records.
The overview can be downloaded as a file and works as proof of your job-search activity.
Store your CV and personal details. The more complete your profile, the better the AI results.
Besides your default CV you store name, address and contact details – these later fill the cover letter and CV header automatically.
Use the “Restart tour” button further up on this page. The tour will then appear again the next time you open the app.
BeTrack remembers in your browser that you have seen the tour. In a different browser, or after clearing your browser data, it will appear again.
You can close it any time with the X. It will start from the beginning next time – simply skip ahead with “Next” to the step you want.
Some icons only appear in certain views or from a certain plan onwards. If a target is not visible, the tour shows the explanation centred without a highlight.
Start the tour directly in the app – or get in touch if a question is still open.
